So I've been browsing Gaia most of the morning and noticed an insane amount of people saying things like "I'm a bitch and proud of it." It's not even so much that they say that, as that they immediately begin insulting others and generally being collective pains in the neck... you know... flaunting their 'intelligence'. I knew being jaded was trendy, but now just being a completely and utterly cranky and rude? It's a major reason I stay out of GD - the so called 'intellectuals' that hold themselves so highly over anyone else, and everyone that's not one of them gets flamed back to the Index. It's cropping up everywhere now, especially in Q&F, exactly where it's not needed. People there are there specifically because they do not know and are looking for answers... not a "Gawd, you idiot, you don't know that already? Try not using chatspeak next time you ask a question and maybe I'll help."
Yeah Xb I probably need to stay away from Gaia until the holidays end, lest I keel someone.
*totters* Christmas puzzle! Though I think now it's time for some Lunar *hugs it* I love vacation. |

The AC on my car went out... or was sputtering and headed that way. Dad's been messing with it since this morning. I went out to check on him and he was sitting behind the steering wheel, car running, doors closed. I sat in the passenger seat and started talking to him. Now... my AC's been going out awhile. What those vents were doing was heaven. It was colder in my car after two minutes of running in the driveway than it is in the house. I figured he was about to pack it up, when he said "This can blow colder," and proceeded to spend the next hour and a half out there *giddy* I'm about to go see that I can't blow myself out of the front seat.
HCV results came back negative. Told some people I would call them when they were in, but mom won't get off the phone ¬¬ |

Fwah! Liz got us fox sets on Gaia! *cling* Ph34r the floof. Fwar.. she's also drawing an awesome piccie right now.. I so can't wait till it's done.. looks great so far.
I'm so sleepy. Kinda angry about the thing that happened with Brink last night. The Oekakis went out again. It completely wiped out the main one. I requested support and they said "Oh, well coding like that is usually always shoddy." Well hi, then how come I haven't ever had a problem with it before? The days when use of the site peeked (sometimes at three to four times what it was when the SQL database was suspended for too many connections last night) have come and gone with no problems. Looking over a log it looks like it might have been an attack but I dunno why anyone would have wanted to do that.. and this is the second time it's happened. I wish they'd do something rather than tell me it's the boards, because I know it's not -_-
Theeen, this morning when I went to register for classes, turns out my registration is on hold due to missing transcripts. Missing transcripts that I turned in by hand because they'd been lost in the mail once before, and missing transcripts I turned in once again when I got a letter that said they were still missing them. Where do they go? Do they disappear into the filing abyss? I have no idea. It sorta irritates me, though the woman on the phone was sweet and removed the hold. She told me I could turn them in whenever.
Thinking about returning to bed where it's safe and warm... though Petsmart has its appeal... oh yes... it does. My reg is still showing the hold, but it says allow up to a day for the system to be updated... foof. Maybe I'll play a spot of RE. |

It is 5AM and I am currently up and going strong.. there is something seriously wrong with this. What's weirder is I just basically sat on my rump all night doing nothing. I need to do the HTML file for the next COTD.. I coulda drawn... I coulda colored stuff I already had scanned (scanning comp has yet to return), and here I sat browsing message boards. Could be worse I guess.
I've been looking at the new Beta and trying to figure out whether the other two were that size when we got them. I think they were, but looking at him as compared to the red fish... it's unreal. The red beta is about three times his size. I guess I should expect it. Walmart is supposed to take horrid care of them, but seeing them beside each other is still really strange.
Hehe... yay! Exciting life. Relaxing though.. glad for that. I think I'm supposed to be up to let Troy in in a few hours... this could be fun. |

Soooo tired.. so a lot of stuff got worked out.. I haven't slept an entire night in a couple of days. I think I'm gonna poke at Tina. I wanna go to Starbucks and it just all of a sudden started pouring.
They still won't release Kristin.. we picked Chris up last night... long long week.

Yeaaaah.. they've extended the beach.. it looks strange somehow.. not that full out awe-inspiring beauty it had been.
Lots of people here this year.. and the air conditioner isn't working brilliantly. I think I'm gonna go bask XD And read.. and bask summor, then concentrate on turning all the kids in the house into couch potatos XD I'll try to catch up on LJ later.

You know, people who won't teach their kids to behave drive me insane. It seriously makes me want to slap the kid, then the parent. Moreso the parent. Going back to Krogers for groceries reminds me just how much I do not miss it. And today at the library, it sounded like a freakin mall >< Five kids yelling and hooting and screaming at the top of their lungs and only one parent called his child down. That's just insane to me. If we woulda done that, we would've gotten called down, then a pop on the butt if we didn't shut up. There's a point where it's understandable, but these people weren't even trying to get their kids to be good. It can't be that hard to get them to behave themselves.

I'm getting ready to go to Florida.. woohoo! I dunno.. I've been kinda pensive about it I guess but I think I'm ready to go now. Lara and I went to Katy Mills yesterday and loaded up on Florida gear. I don't think she's gonna go, but she had fun doing it anyway. She had no money so I ended up buying her clothes :b Kinda cuts into my FL money, but I guess it's fine.
And today I'm gonna go get funstuffs from Barnes and Noble and Claires. I think I also might hit the library. Cheap books and all XD I'd wanted to mom's car (she got a new Toyota about four nights ago) but she ran off with it again, despite the fact that she told me I could use it today. Ah well.
Let's see.. need to get phonechords and stuffs together.. do some laundry, find someone to feed the fishes, get batteries *pets CD player*, dig up a bathing suit and find a sketchbook to drag along (preferably a reallyreally big one). I think after that I'm all done.
